In Pursuit of Elevation
A Newsletter Series Brought to You by Mats Lederhausen
This is my weekly newsletter, which comes out on Sundays. I started it because I think we all need a better conversation. We need a more “elevated perspective” coming from consuming a more diverse media diet. I am sharing some thoughts on topics I find important as well as linking to podcasts, articles and videos that made me think. Please sign up and join the conversation. You can find the most recent newsletters below.
Reflecting Inward
As we head into 2022, I share a few pieces of reflections that are central to the core ideas behind this Newsletter Series I have called In Pursuit of Elevation. The notion that what is happening outside of us is nothing compared to what is going on inside.
Happy New Year 2022

Channeling Our Inner Scandanavians
Tried to summarize some traits, norms and habits from my Scandinavian roots that I think are valuable in our quest for living a more elevated life!
A Short Introspection on Infection

What is Your Story?
Speaking of awareness, that is what I want to reflect on this week. Particularly self-awareness.
Time as a Moral Illusion
This week, I am returning to another theme that is a pivotal landmark in my own geography of beliefs. And, I guess, in all of ours. TIME.
Belief is a Bridge
Now to this week's reflection. Belief is a bridge. This Michelangelo quote is so powerful. In fact, many of you have probably heard me use it before. The best ideas are those that have stood the test of time…
Why I Love Design (Thinking)
I fell in love with Design early. But I think, like most people, I was drawn to the objects of design rather than the process of it.
The Tensions of Our Intentions
Based on feedback from last week's blog, BE THE CHANGE, I was both inspired and excited that so many of you have reached similar conclusions.
Be the Change
This week, I am reflecting on changing the world vs changing ourselves. As a young, inexperienced, and newly promoted CEO of a small but mighty hamburger chain in Sweden, I found myself in the crossfires…
